Editorial intro:

We have to mention tirst the expression ”New Music”- we take it from Adorno’s lyrics to bring a new path between and through the two modern representation of the New: the academical correlative ”contemporary” and the popular discoursive ”underground”; and for a some collective, who has definitive roots in this two traditions.

Now: why three? and why these threee cities? We can found many answers, and we have luck while the release self gives these: 1) we suppose some links betweeen these cities, we admit that the selection is incomplete, disclosed, unfinished. It waits for another cities, authors, another works of this authors. 2) if we look around here at Transdanubia, like here in the epicentre of this three cities, we see nothing more than everywhere. So we can admit (and we do it), that You can’ find more either on this territory, nor on this disc than anywhere; is a part of it, that (and I mention my luck again) I received not just the music from the artists, but the informal atmosphere of the musicrecording too. This more information will be levelled often; actual, here is the principle of editing.

Third: I tried to organize the records by the method of my Török Bazár session in Pécs. So I recommend this v/a like a hand-takeable, visualised radio session, where the tracks are my good friends, young hungarian musicians from.

About the authors:

aLPi /BP/ Live-act, dj, party-organizer member of the Optimal collective, the Papa will rejoice us as a very impulse techno record; and Grotex #8 with compact, closed form, in slow rhythm.

Automata Hari /BP/ aka dj Suefo, an editor akit of the Sabada session (Tilos Rádió),permanent guest by ParaSonic (ParaRadio) session, dj of the band Új Látásmód Fúzió. Dreamachine is a conceptional simple , suggestiv composition in memory of W. Burroughs.

Fortebordo /BP/ aka Szekreter, one of the editors of Haloszoba session on ParaRadio. His record made in 1995, etheral, melodical play.

Minimalisten /SZFVÁR/ the previous name of the band was Errorganic; his improvisative - repetitive music contents equally ethno and industrial elements (and the dual mood of these) too.

Mistaken for a Tree /BP/ a project for one person; he made and worked to the first track the Modst (Miracle on Dumb Street) by minimal technical circumstances.

nicron /PÉCS/ porousher.net introduced with concrete elements, forms four rational-organized segments to rheterical configuration.

Prell /BP/ ex-Rianás, Optimal-member, his minimal, pulsationg music moves many small sounds.

Terra Rossa /SZFVÁR, BP/ the group is active in Dunaújváros too; the editors of ParaSonic, the experimental / noise music session of ParaRadio. We can hear an impulsive, oriental-atmospheric work from.

The Corporation /SZFVÁR/ group of young artists in the tradition of dada and minimal. The record of Mike Nylons is an etud between signs of stiles, the music of Pao is a lo-fi techno.

Tigrics /BP/ ex-Rianás, another editor of a ParaRadio’s Haloszoba session; it carries as live band two members. On the work-name published track presents new example for the application of noise in music one side, two side is a rhythm- and accordful record.

Vono Box /BP/ aka dj Soja, another editor of the Sabada session; he brings a low fidelity downtempo work to us.

Xrc /SZFVÁR, PÉCS/ editor of this selection, represents with an interlude.

Tematikus válogatás hazánk három városában tevékenykedő kísérleti elektronikus, live-act zenészek munkáiból.

Szerkesztői bevezetés:

Első pont rögtön az ”Új Zene” kifejezés - Adorno nyelvhasználatából kölcsönöztük, azzal a célzattal, hogy a meglévő ellentéteken átlépő utat nyissunk az Új két képviselője: az akadémiai értelemben vett kortárs és az populáris relációkat hordozó ”underground” mellett; és egy olyan társaság számára akiknek egyaránt jelentős forrása mindkét tradíció.

Ezután: miért éppen három? és miért éppen ez a három város? Több válasz is adható, és szerencsés helyzetben vagyunk, mivel maga a kiadvány adja ezeket: 1) annak ellenére, hogy feltételezünk bizonyos élő kapcsolatokat, elismerjük, hogy a válogatás hiányos, lezáratlan, befejezetlen. Más városokra, más szerzőkre, az itt szereplő szerzők további munkájára vár. 2) ha pedig körbenézünk a Dunántúlon, netán épp e három város metszéspontjából kiindulva, nem látunk mást, csak azt, amit máshol is észrevehetünk. Igazából elismerhetjük (és meg is tesszük), hogy sem e területen, sem a lemezen nincs több, mint máshol; ehhez hozzátartozik (és ismét szerencsémet említem), hogy nemcsak a zenét, hanem a zene rögzítésének informális légkörét is megkaptam a szerzőktől. Ez a többlet gyakran nivellálásra kerül, nálunk viszont szerkesztési elv.

Harmadszor: igyekeztem úgy rendezni a felvételeket, ahogy pécsi Török Bazár műsoromat is szerkesztem. Ajánlom ezért úgy ezt az albumot, mint egy kézbevehető, vizuális kísérettel ellátott rádióadást, melynek felvételeit jó barátaim, fiatal hazai zenészek készítették.

aLPi /BP/ Az Optimal live-act, dj és partiszervező tagja, a Papa egy igen lendületes technó felvételként örvendeztet meg minket; a Grotex #8 pedig tömör, zárt formával, lelassított ritmikusságban.

Automata Hari /BP/ azaz dj Suefo, akit a Sabada (Tilos Rádió) és a ParaSonic (ParaRadio) műsorokból, valamint az Új Látásmód Fúzió zenekarból is ismerhetünk. A Dreamachine egy koncepcionálisan egyszerű eszközökkel készített, szuggesztív kompozíció, W. Burroughs emlékezetében.

Terra Rossa /SZFVÁR, BP/ a Dunaújvárosban is tevékenykedő csoport tagjai vezetik a ParaRadio experimentális / zajzenei műsorát, a ParaSonicot is. Dinamikus, keleti atmoszférájú munkát hallhatunk tőlük.

The Corporation /SZFVÁR/ fiatal képzőművészek csoportja a dada és minimál jegyében. Mike Nylons felvétele stilusjegyek között váltogató etüd, Pao zenéje lo-fi techno

Tigrics /BP/ ex-Rianás, a ParaRadio Haloszoba műsorának egyik vezetője; immár live bandként duóvá formálódott társulat. A munkacímén megjelent zeneszám amellett, hogy új példát mutat a zajosság

zenei felhasználhatóságára, lassan kibomló, végig ritmussal és akkordokkal telt felvétel.
